Banner 4.0 Training . . .
The new version of Banner comes
online today! Version 4.0 has a different look. To
familiarize yourself with the new interface, please sign up for training
at our IT web site address:

If you would like to train at your

Regardless of your preferred method
of training, do it now! Play the Banner Baffle game at the end of
the tutorial and submit your score sheet for a Banner Bear raffle.
The raffle will be held next Tuesday, Oct. 31. There's still time
to enter your score sheet.
Tools for WebCT . . .
These two utilities were mentioned in
an earlier newsletter and some readers have asked for them again.
So here they are:
Check this link to help with preparing
and uploading PowerPoint 2000 Presentations to
WebCT.
To upload Word
documents to WebCT, Download
the Office 2000 HTML Filter 2.0 to facilitate the saving of Word
2000 documents as HTML files. Reduces the size of your Word doc by
removing Office-specific markup tags. Great tool!
Network Project Nearing Completion . . . .
Kinney Hall's new network wiring is
in place now and final testing of the "drops" is nearly
complete. You can't miss the new wiring - it's "bubble gum
pink". Bruce Arsenault, our Network Coordinator, will be
installing the new Cisco switches into the new network cabinets and
racks in the next 2 weeks. We'll be switching over to the new
Category 6 network as soon as the switches are ready.
By Christmas, all of the new Cisco
network equipment should be in place.
Agenda Wizard in Word 2000 . . .
With the number of committee and
staff meetings that each of us attends, it nice to know that an Agenda
Wizard in Word 2000 makes planning the meeting an easy task. Open
Word 2000 and click the New button. Under the Other Documents tab
is the Agenda Wizard. Just start the wizard and follow the
prompts. Try it out. We all appreciate attending meetings
where we know what to expect on the "agenda".

Bruce ties
the knot! 2000 has been a banner year for weddings. Bruce
Arsenault and Teri Hull were married Saturday, Oct. 21 in Newtown,
CT. A beautiful fall day and good friends and family added to the
