The wireless technology used in our mobile classroom is from LanPAL AKOM Corporation and involves two pieces: an Access Point and a LanPAL network card for each laptop computer.  After moving the mobile unit into a classroom, plug the network wire from the Access Point into the network port in the classroom.  Each laptop is configured with a wireless network card.  Just power the laptop on and Internet access is available, as well as other campus services.

IMPORTANT!  Click on this link to view the directions for setting up the mobile unit and how to care for each of the laptops.
