Setting up Banner 4.0 Training on your PC

1)  Right-click on the My Computer icon and select the Map Network Drive option.  In the first box, select an available drive letter (any letter will do).  In the second box, type this path:  \\nvbanner\bannertraining$.  Do not check the box Reconnect at Logon.

2)  Double-click Setup in this directory.  Read the steps, selecting Next each time, and check the box "Add Shortcut to Desktop".

3)  After Setup is finished, the Banner 4.0 tutorial will begin running.  You need to stop the application and install the latest version of Flash version.  The Flash Installer is located inside a folder on the NVBanner drive that you mapped in step 1.  Copy the Flash Installer file to the desktop of your PC and then double-click to install Flash.  Your PC may need to be rebooted.  Just follow the prompts.

4)  The tutorial requires speakers so that you can hear the SCT Bear speak to you.  If you prefer, you may want to use earphones.  Be sure to plug them into the correct port on the sound card.  You can start training at this time, or use the Bookmark feature to finish at a later time.
